susuk the movie
it was disconcerting, to say the least.
the lead characters name is soraya
people call her yaya
she wants to be a singer
but doesnt have the whole package.
sound familiar?
and having this big boom bass hantu-like voice constantly calling out to soraya throughout the movie certainly didnt help matters either.
and yes, soraya did turn to susuk and ended up a monster. she also ate her friend, aptly named ma(r)s. heheh

"susuk keramat itu boleh membuatkan seseorang umpama dewa di atas bumi"
then came a voice amongst the audience
"hmmpphh, sekarang dah ada botox"

Thanks for your comment :-) We chose the name Soraya because it means 'star'. So she's merely trying to fulfill her destiny.
yeah. well done on the movie.
the only reason it was disconcerting for me is because my name is soraya and people call me yaya and i occasionally sing. hehe. n yes, soraya, a cluster of stars.
